Evaluation for cut-out and morph animation

Myself and imran first started to plan what we are going to make and then we started to make a morph using clay so we began to make a couple of morphs then started to think about what we will base the story about. The first animation we did was the paper cut out which involved getting magazines and cutting out the bits from the pages that we needed so that we could use it on our animation. I then began to start my animation project by buying the magazines from a local shop or from at home, i gathered a couple of magazines so i could have a variety of different images, shapes and objects which i could use for the animation. After cutting out what we needed we planed what the story will be so we made it look funny and mysterious. To  edit the video we used I stop motion, we slowed some parts down because they were going too fast but we did not have any time left to add music.
The next animation which i made was based on fitness, it is called 'Morphs at the gym' it was about about two people going gym and exercising, they are lifting weights and at the end of the work out one of them wipe the sweat of the face, because it was made by i stop motion i had do be patient and take small steps so it does not jump to other parts, i edited the video by adding music called eye of the tiger because it matches gym animation. making the morph was a little hard because we had to make it stand right and the objects we had to make for it were tricky because the objects witch i made were very small and i had to add detail to make it look bait realistic. Some people in the class struggled to think of an idea for the video but it just came into my mind that i go to the gym so i thought why not do the animation about gym shoo i started to make a rack were you hold to weights on it and it looks similar to the actual one in a gym then i made the weights. when everyone looked at the video they thought it was good because they wool not have expected it to be about gym and it looked smooth there was no jumpy parts to it. We decided to join the three animations because when we were editing one of the animations the computer froze so we repeated it again and then it froze again, we tried for the third time and it still froze so we decided to join all three animations together so the video will be longer and more exciting. On the other animation we chose to gather some of our belongings which we had present on that day such as shamballa bracelets which are 5 beads which have many shiny diamonds on each bead strapped threw a thick string to tie around your wrist. we used two shamballa bracelets one watch and one metal bracelet which acted as a sling shot, we took the steps slowly for it to be fluid and smooth, most people said they liked the shamballa animation more than the other two. the object animation went very well and i think it was interesting because all the objects combined and formed into one object then they pulled out and one key ring started to fly.

Pre-production animation designs

The bottom photo is my own design which i drew and the other two at the top are part of mine we drew one body part and passed it to the next person, they couldn't see what the other body part was so it was a random draw which looked funny and silly.

Morph animation feedback

I think my animation was good because the soundtrack went with the topic of the animation because it was based on gym workout. the length of the animation was too short I could have made more objects to include in the animation to make it longer for example a treadmill, bench press and rowing machine. everyone enjoyed the video but it was too short, the comments were good but everyone mentioned that the video length was too short, overall I think it went smooth there were no jumps in the animation and we also added title sequences to it.
